Account information: Your name, email address, and password when you sign up.
Etsy shop data: Listing details, sales data, and order information when you connect your Etsy shop via OAuth. We only request read access.
Usage data: Pages visited, features used, and AI generation history to improve the product.
Payment information: Billing is handled entirely by Stripe. We never store your credit card details.
Cookies: We use session cookies for authentication and analytics cookies to understand how the product is used.

3. How We Use Your Information

To provide, operate, and improve the Beetsy service
To process payments and manage your subscription
To generate AI-optimized Etsy listings on your behalf
To send transactional emails (account confirmation, billing receipts)
To respond to support requests
To monitor for abuse or fraudulent activity

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

4. Data Sharing

We share your data only with trusted service providers necessary to operate Beetsy:

Supabase — database and authentication
Stripe — payment processing
Anthropic — AI listing generation (Claude API)
Vercel — hosting and infrastructure
Etsy — shop data via their official API

All providers are contractually required to protect your data and may not use it for their own purposes.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or accounting purposes.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Request correction of inaccurate data
Request deletion of your data
Object to or restrict certain processing
Data portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), hashed passwords, and row-level security on our database. However, no system is 100% secure — please use a strong, unique password for your Beetsy account.

Beetsy is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us at support@beetsy.io and we will delete it immediately.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or by posting a notice on the dashboard. Continued use of Beetsy after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
